Iwork as an associate professor in philosophy of religion at Lund University, Sweden and what I love the most about my work is helping my students and doctoral students to gain clarity and achieve their goals. In 2019, I started my business Erica Appelros Coaching AB to be able to do more of what I love doing, such as teaching accelerated learning skills and decision-making.
I am launching an online course on how to become a better decision-maker, aimed primarily at online entrepreneurs and small business owners, for whom making fast and good decisions are more challenging than ever with all the uncertainty that comes with the pandemic.
My university training includes philosophy, theology, mathematics, biology, linguistics, religious studies, and horticulture. I am also a certified dance leader in liberating dance and sacred dance, and a published author in philosophy/religious studies (in English and Swedish) and fiction (in Swedish). I have lived for longer or shorter periods in Sweden, Kenya, and England and now I am establishing a second home in Madeira for focused writing periods.
My driving force in life is curiosity and I am dedicated to life-long learning and taking on new creative projects.
