Marilyn Morris has spent over 20 years as a professional board certified chaplain in hospital and hospice settings, assisting hundreds of patients and familes manuever through what she has termed as the “loss, grief, recovery journey.” In that capacity, she has thoughtfully tended to the bereaved as they make their way through this inevitable human journey, for everyone at least once, but for most of us more than a few times. Chaplain Marilyn is currently formalizing her observations as to how most of us create ways and means to live resiliently in the aftermath of a significant loss, how our choices allow us to encounter life anew in an intellectually and emotionally expanded manner. She is recently retired from chaplaincy and now serves as a spiritual care practitioner for personal clients.
